I have zero faith in ORDA or Belle to not completely destroy the awesome CCC vibe at Overlook. Just leave it alone and let the regulars have their spot.

Is the scope of work available online anywhere? Obviously it'll be bad if they mess up the character of the main floor. But the current downstairs (where I have spent most of my time in that building, unfortunately) is not great.

Seemed like mostly old people resisting change

I haven't been inside Overlook in years, at least since the avalanche. Right now, there's not really any reason to go. If they can repurpose it to take some of the strain off the overcrowded Discovery Lodge, I'm all for it.

Overlook has an actual bar, a fireplace and a ton of stone and wood. People like the vibe. No one likes the vibe of Discovery.

The downstairs could use renovation, but leave the upstairs alone. The place is just too cool.
