My Big Fat Drive to Colorado and back.

Every mountain needs a Beer Cat, btw. (Copper)

Liftblog has some pics ofit too. They use the park snow in the summer for the dang boarders to play with in downtown Copper.
That reminds me. Copper had one of the most crowded park scenes I've ever seen. The original Woodward park, the same people who build the parks at Killington. The mountain was empty, but the park was full with five or six guys going off jumps at the same time. No kidding. Tried to get in and take pics, but too dangerous.
Downside is that I saw maybe ten kids walking around in crutches and leg braces and stuff. Lots of carnage.

Only time I was there the dang boarders were launching in late July but it wasn’t a half pipe. Just a huge pile of snow with features.
Their golf course is very nice.
The ball goes a long way at >10000 feet.
Might be why The Lama is a big hitter, allegedly.

Well, that was about it. Took I70 all the way back to Baltimore. Three days. Severe 60 mph side winds in Kansas the first day. That was fun. Hate that drive, but, made it. Never again, though. Looks like Benny is either flying to Taos or Europe in the future, unless the stock market really crashes, and then I'm eating dog food watching the Price is Right, heh.
