The airline industry is a bunch of whores
For the last 10 years they have been making money hand over fist. Did they save any for a rainy day? Nope they spent it on stock buy backs etc.

This pandemic has shown that many Americans just don’t give a crap about our fellow man. It also showed we have zero patience Is so hard to sit and chill for a year and come out fighting next season?

If someone is comfortable traveling, isn't breaking any rules/laws, I say it should be left up to the individual to do so.

If someone is comfortable traveling, isn't breaking any rules/laws, I say it should be left up to the individual to do so.

The problem with that is that travel restrictions are probably unconstitutional, and Rona doesn't care about the constitution. You should follow science based public health advice, regardless of whether there is legal authority to enforce it.

If you don't do what's necessary to control the spread voluntarily, eventually people will demand new legal authority to enforce restrictions. That will be worse, and those laws will never expire.

Wow. That is the start of one hell of a slippery slope. What other parts of the constitution should be discarded?

You missed my point. The laws have we don't allow travel restrictions and other things that are already happening. You can voluntarily comply, or you can insist on your right to travel and socialize, but if the virus is uncontrolled for a long enough time, people will insist on harsh measures to control behavior.
In other news, the NYS Assembly is discussing a new law giving the governor power to arrest anyone he deems on his sole authority to be a threat to public health. The greatest supprt for that seems to come from Brooklyn and Orange County where there are large communities who refuse to limit gatherings.
