Let’s Talk Packs!

I just started looking for a new back pack to carry skis, avy gear, etc. Old pack was set up for diagonal carry. Didn't use it much but seemed a little awkward and was thinking A-frame seemed more stable. What's better?

I go A-frame unless there is a reason not to. Best to be able to do both.

I’m a pack queen. I think I have over twenty. Shoes too, can’t buy enough of them.

You can mount most either way now. When I start off with the skis of the pack I put them on a frame. If I'm in the field I put them on diagonal it's just easier for me
