ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

Regen brake-by-wire charges yer battery to boot.
Tiro, this is not an "also." This is the reason that regen exists. To regenerate the battery.

Yup. Both.
& minimizes dust coming off the pads.
Nobody likes the smell of asbestos in the morning. I wish my ICE machine had magnetic assisted brakes.
Magnets FTW.

Interesting. I don't like using low in the mav for Regen. Because it's, it seems like it beats on the ice and it's not worth a little extra battery charge to really rev. The s*** out of the ice. Engine?
Low for a regenerative breaking setting, I was not referring to low gear (if you were).

Next time you have significant snow try the slippery/snow mode ,I find that it helps. easy to switch modes when roads are better.

Just got my electric bill and they adjusted my balanced billing up by $100 per month due to me charging my ev at home vs my prior gas powered vehicle :( I got the ev at the beginning of May, so its not a full year yet, I didn't realize that it would go up that much. So now I see that I am not saving as much as I thought I would.

How much do you pay per kilowatt hour?

And do you have a so-called time of use plan? One should be available. For example, from 10 pm to 6 am, my utility charges 25% of what it charges from 3 to 7 pm. So, I don't charge from 3-7 p.m. If I paid off tap, filling up a Rivian (massive battery) would cost like $10.
