Easier to get some SkiSoxx. I played with them while chatting with the inventor at Snowbound Expo 2024. Bought them for the skis I use at Massanutten and the all-mountain skis I take out west. I like being able to move them around without gloves without worrying about cutting myself on sharp edges. Also protects other stuff packed into the RAV4 as well as the skis.wrap those rascals!
Nice trifold T-cover!I am here to report that the bed in the Maverick hybrid is big enough to hold two pairs of skis.

It is actually pretty nice. It's the Ford part. It's pretty water tight, but I'm sure not perfect.Nice trifold T-cover!
That's what I like about the hardcover trifold. They seem to be very water proof. Plus you can put stuff on top of them without having to worry about ripping it. Makes for a nice shelf. It is actually pretty nice. It's the Ford part. It's pretty water tight, but I'm sure not perfect.
@BRLKED told me he doesn't like the fact that when it is fully open it blocks the window. He got an after market cover that works like a roll top desk that looks very cool.
Regen brake-by-wire charges yer battery to boot.Well, I dont really like the mavs aggressive braking but I just learned that it is great for descending in unplowed Snow. New tires certainly dont hurt. let's face it.Snow driving is all about stopping.
Harv: one caution on regen breaks in snow - if there is a low setting you should consider using that. The heavier the vehicle, at the point you lose grip, the longer it takes to recover (the engineers/scientists etc can explain the why). Going on lower regen mode in snow slows the deceleration by regen, which reduces the risk of losing contact/skid. Rivian does this through 'snow mode' that simply lowers the regen rate. Snow mode came out before i took delivery but after I ordered, so i got snow tires (two forms of protection), but throwing it out if helpful as a PSA for regen/hybrid/ev.Well, I dont really like the mavs aggressive braking but I just learned that it is great for descending in unplowed Snow. Interesting. I don't like using low in the mav for Regen. Because it's, it seems like it beats on the ice and it's not worth a little extra battery charge to really rev. The s*** out of the ice.
