Let's see.... a school bus passed within a foot of me. Someone once ran me off the road because he wanted to ask for directions. I've had people throw sh** at me, try to spit on me, and play chicken. AND I was hit by someone who ran a stop sign. There's more, too.

That sucks.

I stopped road riding a few years before I moved here. But I still recall a convo I had many years ago with someone in Upper Jay. Dude gleefully described how his buddy put the squeeze on a cyclist in The Narrows on Route 86, where there's no shoulder. "He sure taught him a lesson!" Real brave, aggressing a cyclist in your F150.

This is why I only mountain bike. Trees Don’t text ,spit or try and knock me off my bike.

Some trees on a golf course really take a beating getting hit by a lot of balls..

The modification, does it have any other features other than flooding the engine?

It involves the exhaust brake. I'm not entirely sure the specifics of it. I do know the older diesel trucks are easier to make do it than the newer ones, which makes sense to me. Also, I'd think they somehow spool the turbo. How that's done? I don't know.

I’ve been coaled while on my bike more than a few times. Or the imports will make a POP as they pass to scare the shit out of you. It’s incredibly dangerous. I don’t carry but sometimes I wish I did. It’s not something to shoot someone over but if they’re willing to disrespect you like that and put you in harm’s way, you have to wonder what else they have in mind.

My buddy used to be an old school motorcycle club guy. Sons of Sam MC guy.
Anyway, he'd carry pool balls in his pockets for just said occasions. According to him a pool balls to the windshield sends a clear message.... LoL

Ya’d have a small fortune if ya got a buck for every time this old maple's been hit.

Green is just left of the trunk ~100yds away.
New growth gets pruned each season. It has uprights now,
The trunk has gnarly scars on it.

I tried a shot under it today.
Tis the #3 handicap hole. If the big old maple ain’t there it’d be one of the easier par 4’s on the course.
Ho hum bogey.

Efficiency update on the bolt - one pedal driving I am getting 4-5 miles per kw, about 2x the efficiency of the Rivian. I filled to 80% last night and did 10.1 miles today on 2.1 kw. My daughter does not like the car (thinks it is ugly; happens to hate Teslas). My son was like, this is a perfect car for our family for what we need (my wife's daily commuter. It will probably never go off Long Island, and almost definitely will not go beyond New Jersey, Connecticut, New York State.). The battery is so small (1/2 the size of the Rivian) it can charge from almost empty in less than 8 hours on L2 charger.

2.1kw would get you like 4.2-5 miles in a Rivian. Haha. Of course, they are apples to oranges. But combine the two and they fit my family driving needs perfectly.

It’s directly behind the trunk. I couldn’t get an iron over it & reach the green so tried the bankshot bouncer off the slope of the hill to the right. Thought about a low cut shot left of maple. Ball got caught up in the thick rough where the grass has seen water down by the green. Missed a 10 footer for par. Tap in bogey. Coulda been a contender.

Was in the the fairway after a nice drive on that hole.
Four holes later had to hit another 2nd shot low liner.

Kept it out the traps but made another dang bogey.
The green is the smallest in the county with just a small slot between the traps.

The ball rolls a long ways if the grass is not watered.
