Yep. We'll be up there next week as my brother in law lives by Cannon. Cannon reminds me of Whiteface-it can be great or it can be pretty bad-depends on the snow. Loon is more homogenized, although the cruisers on the south side are nice speed runs. I say that two to three days at Loon is plenty, but then I remind myself I probably put in 60 days a year at Bristol................................

Have you ever been to SR? Definitely a lot more interesting than Loon. Pays to get some advice on how to get between the different peaks. I could get good intel from the Info desk at the main base.

We were there once a couple of years ago. Conditions were so-so, but we had a good time. We'll have our 11 year old granddaughter with us, so probably not get too crazy.

If you are there over a weekend, could consider a day at Mt. Abram. Just down the road from SR. Classic old school.
