Under the current structure, a 23-year veteran patroller can make just a dollar an hour more than a rookie patroller earning Washington’s minimum wage, say union members.

Well, it's a job that never lacked for a warm body to replace those even experienced patrollers, which always kept wages down.
 
What if all the experienced ones are gone? Don't fall is the best advice I would give anyone. This....aint good.....
 
Somebody posted they used ski patrol to bring the snow makin hoses off Rumors at Gore. Could be a rumor, allegedly.

Yeah, but apparently when you basically say FU to your volunteer patrol...there aren't that many bodies lined up.

yup..but I don't see how the snowmakers could do it..unless they can ski stuff that steep while hauling guns off at the same time. It was impressive to watch. And to ski.
