Has anyone here skied VT this season?

And this is the major problem/issue we're baving in controlling this virus.

Agree

A couple of my buddies went up to Tug Hill to get some riding in. They went into a snowmobile shop up there and they said it was like COVID didn't exist up there. They were the only 2 with masks on in the entire store. They were proud to be wearing them. The comment was, imagine that, 2 woodchucks from Virgil being the only 2 with masks on. Crazy.

How can it be enforced? To my mind, the only way is at the check in desk at lodging, right? And then, it would probably be a matter of lying when the out of state skier signs paperwork. Otherwise, roadblocks for out of state plates, right?

I really don't see harm done if you're day tripping with an RIFD pass and eat lunch in your car, and stay out of shops and restaraunts. And gondolas.

It’s called personal responsibility.

There are many 2nd home owners from out of state that freely skiing Vermont ski areas.
Yeah, I have been regretting not buying some cheap little thing up there before this, now, it's gold. I could have bought a small one bedroom at the base of Pico for 75,000 the year before last. There's Jersey families driving up there in SUVs that cost that much.

Again, if you had something up there, I don't see the danger of using it for a short period if you bring your own food to cook. Or, test down here, drive up with supplies, quarantine, and just stay there. As long as you're distanced on chairs, skiing is pretty safe. Just stay out of lodges.

1. Don't shit on NJ please. People in NYC drive those things too.
2. Last week, I carried merchandise out to a customer's BMW X7. He goes, "It's a great truck." Don't be that guy.
