They were working on it last time I was there. Not gonna lie...not a fan, I'd prefer it just be left alone but I'm to old for that crap. Kids probably love it, only thing missing would be a rope tow so they could lap it.

During my GP ski day last week, I noticed that the Electra trail -- which has been open and closed over the years -- is open again. I took this pic but you can't see the bottom of the power line pole. Can someone tell me if there are pads on the bottom? I suspect yes given that it's an open marked trail but would appreciate confirmation from a local!

I haven't been through there since fall. There weren't pads then. For some odd reason I don't think they can put pads on those because they don't own them. I could be wrong, prolly am, but I seem to recall something like that.

A reasonable theory but which entity would get sued if/when someone skis into them: GP or the artist formerly known as NiMo?

I'll guess that GP doesn't feel as though they'd be at risk, or they wouldn't open that trail again.
It got skied quite a bit before it was "open" again.
