Fantastic conditions and surprisingly uncrowded. But once again Greek is claiming they don't have enough staff to run all 6 chairs. Maybe they don't, but despite the lack of crowds on the quad, Greek ran Chair 1 (which serves the same terrain as the quad) instead of opening 2, which serves the center of the hill, their best glades, their best novice terrain and the best terrain parks. So while the upper glades off Chair 2 were all fantastic, only those who hiked up Zephyr from Epicurus skied them from the top. Again the longest line was for Chair 4, which was loaded with boarders going to the Pollux park and beginners running Marathon to Castor. Chair 4 can't slow down for novices and was continuously stopping all afternoon. The line was +10 minutes at 2 pm when I gave up on it. The reality is that, once again, Greek was not really 100% open, despite all the snow and Wes' BS sales pitch on the morning conditions report. I got an earful from a couple of annoyed season pass holders about the lift not running.... again. I really don't get why Greek management opens Chair 2 last, even on days when the quad crowd is fairly light.
