Sedona Cathedral Rock (cont'd.)
Incredible views…
…and sense of scale!
My only grip about this trip was the pace, I would love to have 2-1/2 months instead of 2-1/2 weeks. I was looking for a window to give ya a shout
@raisingarizona for a tour or some beta, but as it was I barely found time to squeeze in a few hours on the bike before sunset. The Mescal Trail (whole new meaning from my misguided youth lol) was awesome and need to get back and explore some more….
Next stop Santa Fe, NM. First stop for great beers and Al Pastor tacos at Santa Fe Brewing. Next morning walked around town a bit before checking out El Rancho de las Golindrinas historical site.
Back on the road…
Fuck Oklahoma, that is all.
On the home stretch now, made another stop in Kentucky to check out Mammoth Cave
I had expected prime fall foliage on the way home but the deep greens and blues of Virginia were a welcome site on the way to Monticello.
That would be our last stop on the way home. Thanks for tagging along.
As I reflect back, I may add some thoughts and observations about the road, RV’ing, homelessness, masks and guns.
