The Hudson chair was delayed for just about an hour that day, as the gremlins were lurking because someone fed them after midnight (probably that milo dude 🤷‍♂️ :poop: :ROFLMAO:)

The North and BRQ were already open ;) ⛷️
And if you have been reading my posts, the upper mountain sn't open because they couldn't get lift 7 to pass the NYS inspection, and they had no snowmakers 🦴 :poop:

If you read the post that you responded to saying that it was incorrect, you will see that Milo didn’t say anything about BRQ or North. So is he right or wrong?

Yes, you are correct and I was wrong.

The Ski Bowl will not open without the interconnect that is the bottom line.
The only reason that happened last year was because of the massive operation fuckups, which fall on management, and they had no choice but to open the Ski Bowl

And just another day in the saga of you, Gotta, go to know!😎

Again, I feel like I need to set the record straight on wild speculation.

The snowmaking systems are separate but connected. There are two pumphouses. One of them is at the river and pumps 4800 gpm either to the reservoir, or directly to the ski bowl trails. It can also feed to portions of Burnt Ridge, and to the main base. The other pumphouse is at the reservoir and runs at 6800 gpm, sending water everywhere but the ski bowl. They do not have any booster stations.

While both systems can be used simultaneously to pump water onto the trails, resulting in a capacity of 11,600 gpm, this would drain the reservoir very quickly, as any water being sent to the ski bowl isn't being sent to refill the reservoir.

What you are seeing at the ski bowl next to the Village Chair is the air plant. It's pretty basic in that it's just self-contained diesel compressors like what many resorts rent, but they are permanently installed there. This was added when the interconnect was built. Prior to that, the Ski Bowl's snowmaking system was water-only. It is likely more than sufficient, as the low-e guns use far less air than the air hog guns that were commonplace when it was built.

I don't see the conspiracy with the opening order for the mountain areas. Most resorts prioritize opening all of their lifts and base areas. Gore did a very poor job with snowmaking last season, but opening the Ski Bowl when they did was not a problem. If anything, they got to it too late. The main base will still be prioritized as the higher elevation is better for early season snowmaking, and it has much more parking. With the new lodge and lift, I hope the Ski Bowl can be prioritized more.

Again, the ski bowl trails, other than the village slope, will not open unless the interconnect trails are open, period.

Of course that is true, but it is also true that Ski Bowl opened before some of the best trails on the main mountain. Actually, the whole main mountain was in terrible shape until they sent the former VP to fix it, and that was after Ski Bowl opened. It was another example of ORDA mismanagement of Gore.
Also, the only person in ORDA who knew how to make snow was promoted so far that they had to fire him because of his incompetence as a manager. What do you think that means for next year?

From mgmt's point of view, business as usual, nothing to see here, move along.

When there is no accountability, there will be no postive results...

Orda can improve all of the snowmaking infrastructure, but unfortunately they fail on recruiting of labor; so will the cycle continue...as Suds would say, time will tell.
