"We are so excited about two new quads for the 20-21 season! These will replace the Sunway Chair and High Peaks Chair, and both will extend further up the mountain. The High Peaks Chair delivers you to the true summit and all of your Straight Brook Valley favorites. The Sunway chair will feature a modern and comfortable conveyor-style loading area that is ideal for those just getting started. We are improving the Cutoff trail and adding to our snowmaking capacity too."

When are they announcing selling the High Peaks chairs? I would think those will be popular....
 
wow..NY doesn't have 2 nickles to rub together..

The High Peaks chairs had lead paint and were scrapped. The Sunway chairs sold out quick.

Maybe true but they have two new chairs ?

I'm sure this was all in motion long before the stuff hit the fan. Both of those chairs are ancient too. Anyone know how old they were?

High Peaks will be essential if gondola capacity is restricted. I wouldn't be comfortable on the gondi with strangers right now.

For the summer, which obviously is much much slower than the ski season, the Gondola is for members of one's group only. Gore disinfects all of the cabins, and chairs from AE2 at the end of the day.
