Agreed. No excuse but at least the guy on the golf course could blame alcohol for being an idiot. The guy at the bike park is just a raving lunatic with anger and mental issues. Good thing those kids were scared and tried to descalate the situation. The wrong kids and he'd been toast.
 
I read on another site that the guy in Whistler is known to the local cops and his behavior is attributed to a previous brain injury. So we can expect that they’ll go easy on him.
 
Our local hosts many group events.Last year a group from Calgary poured off the bus after 3 hours of drinking. Five groups teed off around noon. On the back nine the cart girl called the pro shop that they should call the cops NOW ! It took the cops an hour to get them back on the bus. The bus took them to the Northern. Just another summer day in Whitefish.

I am going to guess that Taransky pulled those punches. He would have killed the guy if he really let fly. The running comments were hilarious. The other funny observation was that the course looked empty in front and nobody else caught up from behind. The course is in Red Deer, Alberta.
