IIRC, April through September it's fine in CNY but yeah, the cold weather months are challenging. Amazing how much more sun there is down here in NJ, allegedly due to the ocean influence. I still remember gloomy Saturday after gloomy Saturday in front of the TV watching this:

We also didn't watch it ,watched a great New Netflix series The ARE Murders...filmed in ArE , Sweden a world cup skiing venue , stunning scenery and good series.

We just finished the second season of The Diplomat. Really good and ended with a heck of a cliffhanger.

Pre game show was much better with Trombone Shorty and Soul Rebels etc.., so maybe I'm just too old?
Saw the Soul Rebels a few years back and ran in to some friends with another couple. I was dancin' my jam when the other couple remarked "I guess he doesn't have any self esteem issues" .... I think it was a compliment

Saw the Diplomat is is very good .
Hey if you want to have a great time and really laugh ur butt off ,: watch the old Boston Legal series with William Shatner and James Spader on Hulu .
there are 101 episodes we just recently completed them they are fantastic.
The characters are outrageously funny and bizarre the plot lines are really good and hold your interest
This old series is just the kind of elixir we need to put smiles on our face in light of all the s*** show that's happening in Washington right now.
As I said we binge watched all 101 episodes ..since mid December and finished them 10 days ago our family in Manhattan, Boston and Utica are also several seasons into it and laffing their butts off at the characters that emerge
One of our family friends Mark Valley is a star in the series but more importantly this series seriously delivers and it's every bit worth the effort.
It's currently on Hulu if you have that streaming service

We loved Boston Legal!!! But it's been many years so it might be time to rewatch. Thanks for the idea!
My favorite rewatch is Breaking Bad. I just rewatched some of season 2 while flying to and from New Mexico. I've rewatched the entire series more times than I'm willing to confess

had forgotten most of it but man this show DELIVERS !! BB was also a very good series should probably redo that one too.i loved an episode I think was end of season 3 called " Face Off"
Another we ll probably do again is Peaky Blinders that was a great crime series set in England during the 1920's 30's etc
