Warming trend ensues today with increasing confidence for above
normal temperatures through early next week. While we remain dry
through at least Monday, confidence is also increasing for our
next widespread rain event next Tuesday into Wednesday before we
turn cooler for the end of next week.

.LONG TERM /SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY/...

- There is a 50-70% chance for greater than one half inch of
rain across eastern NY and western New England next Tuesday
into Wednesday.

My front yard looks like a California hillside in September - tan. We are under voluntary water conservation due to the NJ Drought Watch. I can look out the window and see who has built in sprinklers and who does not.

Here's a crazy stat for September. Rochester had 0.30" of rain for the entire month of Sept 2025. We had 0.40" yesterday with not much expected for many days. Man it's dry around here.
