Believe it or not, snowed in the NC mountains too. Meaning inches of snow, not just a trace. Sugar Mountain near Boone opened this morning. Cataloochee near Asheville will open Nov. 23. Those two always vie for "first to open" headlines.

Ya know it’s crazy when a storm chaser gets jammed going on >3hrs on I84 a bit before the 380split near Dunmore Pa.

Be careful cause it’s wet snow and early season.

Heavy, heavy, heavy wet snow. Limbs and trees down all over. Once it started to warm up in was like hunting in the pouring rain with all the snow melting off the trees.

Rain in Saranac Lake, ugh. Upper elevations got snow. WF reporting 5 inches on the summit.
