The Onondaga Nation sues for environmental reasons not for casinos.
They did get some of the land back recently.

Yes, Tski, thank you for pointing this out. I had been planning this trip for quite some time and thought this weekend would be an appropriate time to pay homage.

All of the land on my journey, both public and private, was once the ancestral homeland of indigenous people. Most importantly, we must understand that it still is today.
Figured ya timed it right.

My aunt & Godmother lived on The Flathead Reservation for years. Her husband worked for the USFS in Missoula. One of my cousins married the medicine man’s son. So we got the going for us.
