Here’s what you’ve all been waiting for... BOOZE!
Just to show it’s not all fun and games in the booze biz, I’ll share this pic of some introductory close outs I came across while cleaning out my garage recently.

That is an odd selection. Blue Toes enjoys the regular Maibu Rum drink but even she might balk at a cranberry cherry variety. We tried the Mango version recently, it was different.

There have been many different line extensions over the years, including chocolate and strawberry ice cream sundaes. The Mama Walker didn’t last long but I remember one of the other flavors was maple bacon. Talk about swinging for the fence.

Picked up a bottle of Dickel Bottled in Bond, #2. 100 proof, aged 11 years. Pretty good stuff.

I‘lol try to remember to bring it up to Greek next winter. I must be getting old cause I can’t remember what the third flavor was- blueberry pancake, maple bacon and something else. Oh well

I’m of the opinion that one booze thread is enough so I’m sharing this here. This is from Defiant Brewery. It’s been one of my favorites for years. Not too heavy, not too sweet, not too hoppy... just a nice medium bodied amber with maybe some hints of red fruit or maybe a suggestion of orange flavor on the palate but mainly just a nice beer flavored beer. I guess it’s got a bit of a short finish but hey, nobody’s perfect.

On second thought the first can may have had just a tiny bit of secondary fermentation happening, which I should have picked up, based on the bubbles in the head. Can two was perfect.
