Drones over New Jersey

At this point public hysteria has set in. Rockland county is buzzing with sightings. I imagine the majority (if not all) of them are just normal air traffic or kids flying small drones around at night to amuse themselves, knowing that somebody will freak out

Where’s captain Kelso when we need him?

The next president today said to shoot them down. Jeezus kerrist.

From all the videos I’ve seen those aren’t kids or drone hobby people.

Denial is a hell of a drug brownski. This is some serious shit. If it were hobby folk they’d come clean on that. I read that a NJ government official stated that they had a helicopter go up to investigate and when they shined a light on the “drone” it went black. It basically disappeared. I don’t believe these things are even drones, in fact that everyone keeps calling em that kind of irritates me. We have absolutely no idea wtf these things are and they are now appearing all over the world.

Blancolirio is a good aviation resource.

From the comments.
“This just happened over Vandenberg Space Force Base too, the drone was flying above one mile in altitude. Vandy has drone spotting systems that picked it up, base security located and searched the drone pilot and found the drone concealed on his person when they searched him. The drone pilot was arrested yesterday at SFO airport attempting to board a flight to mainland china. There are a number of articles about it now. Drone pilot is being charged with operating an unlicensed drone and with photographing the base's layout.”

I agree Juan Brown, Blancolirio, is an excellent source of aviation news. Also Ryan Mcbeth also covered this - - he's former military, IT security and works for a drone company.

As for the comment you read from someone in Blancolirios I'm always skeptical about comment reliability, but this looks correct. https://abc7news.com/post/brentwood-Yinpiao-Zhou-drone-china-vandenberg-space-force-base/15643043/
