Building a House with Wood

Holy cow. What you need is expressive. Haven't looked at in since the tractor thread. Are least the market is high. You will use the tractor.

So the A team kind of abandoned me, now it's the D team (me) landscaping with a shovel, and trying to GC the rest of the job.

drainage

I looked at some YouTube videos, talked to my neighbor Don. I'm kind of winging it.

One thing about working in the rain, I can see that as I add more sand, and stone and soil, that it is still draining.

Full disclosure, as editor of NYSB I should be rooting for the ground to freeze and the snow to fall. But...

How are your heat pumps working? For me, if it's in the teens or above I'm good. Single digits and my propane stove and furnace kick on.

I set mine for 25f to cut over to propane. My thinking is the electrical appliance is expensive and probably it'll last longer if you don't run it as hard? Mine is supposed to be good to 10 degrees, but that seems like a stretch.

Some manufacturers say, the units last ten years.I think I want it to last twenty.

I'm not smart or motivated enough to figure out where the cost effective cutover is for energy cost.
