Building a House with Wood

We were talked out of a cement entryway.

We went with landscaped stairs using rocks from the blasting. Time will tell if it was the right choice.
Folks put in a new stone stairway to the 5th tee box at Tuscarora.

Tusky sits atop the limestone ledge so if fits in with the local rocks.

Beautiful, but a potential killer with a ricochet from my approach shot from the other fairway.
Agree, beautiful and definitely a ricochet issue. And nice as it is, it seems like overkill.
Previous hole 4 is #1 handicap with OB left. Uphill and to the right is where the 5th tee box is located. There’s a line huge pine trees between the holes and a very large maple.Rarely see a ball hit from anywhere on 4 to 5 tee box. I’ve seen some shots go from the 5th tee box go over to the 4th. They’re back to back par 5’s but 5 is a 90 degree dogleg left and 4 is straight the hole way.

I think the old steps used to be just wooden ties with gravels steps. They worked. The new railing is handy.

If ya zoom it ya can see the new steps behind the big trees above where the carts are parked..
