Not a ski film but there are lots of cool urban exploring videos about the Nevele and other abandoned Catskill resorts like this one. Some are long and most are creepy, but it’s nice to get a tour without the lead paint, asbestos, mold, broken glass or trespassing arrest. I like to watch them because of the history and imagine what they were like or what will become of them. Whenever the conversation about the Belleayre expansion comes up I think of the old Grand Hotel in Highmount and videos like this. History is a great teacher.
