Best Access for Under $1K

How far is Montage? That's a new Indy location. I have friends in Philly who have season passes there. Husband has been an advanced skier for a long time. Montage has blackout dates.

West Mountain is also new to Indy. I stopped by to take a look at the base on the way to Lake Placid. Looks like it could be fun. I don't have a sense of how busy it gets on weekends though. I think the race training is on a separate part of the mountain.
Montage is 2.5 and not very direct, I tend to avoid PA at all costs for various reasons but primarily because there is far better skiing and riding to the north that is also more easily accessed. It's about 10 minute drive to exit 15 on the NYS Thruway from where I am at.

West Mountain is only three hours and a true straight shot, I've passed it many times on the way to Vermont but never stopped. For the extra couple of minutes I imagine Gore offers a bit more variety.

The Indy mountains I would likely take advantage of are Mohawk, Catamount, Jay, and Magic. Question really becomes if $299 is worth what would likely amount to 8 to 10 days total.

Ikon for under $1K. Windham, Stratton, Sugarbush and Killington in the East, lots more out west. OR Epic. Stowe, Mt Snow, Okemo and Hunter, with more out West.
All those Indy Pass places are great if you live nearby, but if I'm driving 3 hours I'm going to Vermont. Or the airport.

And they just added Kitzbuhel and the Sella Ronda/Dolomiti Superski over in Europe. Benny is so overjoyed.

Goin again for the Sr. pass at Lab/Song.
If I keep the restaurant & bar tab under $650, I’ll easily make it.
If I get the Sr pass before Oct. 8th there’s $700 leftover.
