It was great to get out today. All three runs that were open had great coverage and skied well. It does seem like they should have plenty of snow for this weekend, but might need some help around the bottom of the lift.

So the question is why did they completely rule it out, especially now that the weather is looking quite a bit better on Saturday.

All 3 trails had great coverage. No bare spots at all. Hardly even any brown spots to be seen. Stayed until noon and got a dozen runs in.

Talked to one of the boys, they went to Belle for their 1st time today. They said the same thing and ran the same program.
Said it was one of his best 1st days.
Said one of the trails was like a longer Ptarmigan (Lab).
Looking to visit The Belle with them sometime.

If they said, we'll evaluate day by day, that would've been one thing. Instead they ruled it out. It seems they have a vendetta against weekend skiers.

Not being tied to a 9-to-5 (assuming you have some income) has always been an advantage in skiing. Welcome to adulthood.

Maybe it doesn’t fit into Microsoft Project software correctly when other folks just wing it.

No, the report says they're done after today until the 24th.

All I need to know is by the night before. I'm 2 hours away, which is a day trip.

Hoping they open tomorrow and glad that - if they are going to do so - they are not announcing it well in advance. That would lead to more crowds. If they announce it tonight we will be there tomorrow.

And if they do not, I am still glad for those who got to enjoy it yesterday or today.
