Was at lift 6 for opening, skied till 11 and called it. Lot of people. Winnisook was great with a fresh gunpowder coat over bumps, had a text at 5am from my snow maker buddy saying go there and he wasn’t kidding he did a great job with it:

Did Winnisook 7 or 8 times in a row. Everything else was firm and fast. Back side of the Wednesday storm was wet and it shows for sure. Sun was nice, sunny and 47 in boiceville.

Gapers everywhere. Cars were parked almost to the corner of Galli Curci road on the way out and they were directing new arrivals to the maintenance lot. There were about five buses parked down by route 28 and more higher up.

What were the lift lines like?

Lift 7 and 8 very short. I only rode B express and Gondi once . Single line less than 10 minutes. I skied from start to 130 pm.
I have seen cars all the way down the access road and down rt 28 before.

Holy people Batman. Dodged most of them. Skied open to close. Last gondola was at 4:30.

What were the lift lines like?

Rode 6 until about 10, full corrals on both sides but it was only 5-7 minutes or so. Lift staff was doing good with getting the chairs full and people on them and the lift wasn’t stopping much.

Went over to 7, small line on the left side but not much on the right. They were doing a good job keeping that one running too. It was dripping grease and rusty water, so went over to 8. Line was longer there but still not bad, but the chair must have stopped 10 times on the way up, very annoying. Due to people not mechanical.

Ski patrol was very busy with accidents everywhere. There was also a life flight but haven’t heard anything about how the person is.

Sell out on Sunday. Wtf. I was speaking to a patroller and they are astounded by the skier numbers this year. I know there was a lot of snow. I would be up there today but we don’t have a car we can fit in w our gear to go up in until next week as we traded in the crv.

I don’t have any details, just saw patrol bringing a lot of people down.
