Exchange rates. You spent time in Italy. Pound to dollars was very good for them a while backBrits love Killington post Presidents week, too. Always a head scratcher, since they can take a high speed train to the French Alps. Whatever. My ex wife always thought the Brit kids were so well behaved, compared to the bratty American kids at Kmart. She was right.
The British kids I've heard about skiing in New England during a spring break were mostly beginners. They probably thought a trip to the USA was going to be far more exciting than going across the Channel to France.Yeah, but, Alps vs. the Greens? I don't think it's compensation.
