I don’t have them but they are on my wishlist. I think I would get them with the Scarpa T4s and Switchback bindings. Looks like a great bushwhacker ski. For distance, XC skis are preferred, for turns AT reigns supreme. These fall right in the middle. Sizing down to a 162 is recommended for swinging them around in the trees. Yeah, his downhill turn into an uphill stride is chef’s kiss. I worked on some of this in the backyard last year. He’s using a shorter pole length which I’ve adapted as well. This follows more of an alpine form allowing your center of gravity to be lower for quick turns, whereas nordic poles can often be almost as high as your shoulder for pushing power. If you look close at the end he quickly moves his hands from holding the grip the regular way to palming the top to avoid an adjustment during the transition.Gus does rip on the Koms.
