Figured I'd start a separate thread for discussion of next year's season passes.
I'll start with Killington, who just released next year's pass. https://www.killington.com/plan-your-trip/tickets-passes/season-passes
They have 3 main tiers. The top tier is the Beast 365 Pass. It includes an Ikon Base Pass, enhanced access to summer activities, and the best perks and discounts in the winter. It can be paid in full, or billed monthly at no additional cost.
Below that is the Unlimited pass, which has unlimited, unrestricted access to Killington and Pico, but no Ikon Base Pass, and summer access is limited to gondola rides only. The perks and discounts aren't quite as good either. It can be paid in full or billed in 3 payments, but for an additional fee.
Then there's the midweek pass which is only valid on non-holiday weekdays, but otherwise has the same perks as the Unlimited pass.
Additionally, they have the College Pass and Vermont Student Pass, which are basically the same as the Unlimited Pass, but are deeply discounted and only available to a very select few.
There are three premium add-ons. One of them is the preferred parking pass, which gives access to Bay 1 in the K1 Lot. New for next year there is a season long Fast Tracks add-on and a Fast Tracks 4 pack.
There was a price increase of around 60 dollars for all passes, which in my opinion makes the Beast 365 Pass an better value than it was before, because of how Ikon's prices went up a lot more than that.
There is one change that I'm highly disappointed in, and it's that they nuked the bring a friend discount. This year you get 12 50% off vouchers with the Beast 365 Pass, and 12 25% off vouchers with the other passes. Now you only get 10 with the Beast 365, and 5 with the other passes, and the percentage discount is unspecified. I take that as meaning it will be 0 or close to it much of the time. I liked this perk as a way to introduce people to Killington without them totally breaking the bank.
I believe they will lose business for this, not from people not renewing their passes, but from those who passholders might've encouraged to come, and who will now go elsewhere or not ski at all.
