    ORDA's Biggest Mistakes

This actually blows my mind. I would think the key to basic maintenance is paying attention, asking questions & caring about the venue. Also, leaving your office once in a while... 3 million to teach you how to recognize that a deck needs to be replaced? o_O

    ORDA's Biggest Mistakes

The bathroom at the yurt worked just as well and was a hell of a lot cheaper. 🤷‍♂️

    Who's on the DL?

No way. No need to apologize! Just keep skiing!

    Who's on the DL?

And I’m glad to hear you found a way jasonwx. 👊🏻 I too doubled down on PT, stretching, etc. The more people told me I might not be able to ski, the harder I worked.

    Who's on the DL?

Went through this type of testing (4.5 hours worth) earlier this year. It's BRUTAL. Needles in the hands was especially not fun. Turns out I had something called Guillain-Barre' Syndrome (also BRUTAL)... but I have started skiing again (2 days so far - Woo!). There's always a way back, Harvey...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

As a Dad who taught two young skiers to ski on Village Slope, I would say the only tricky spot is the initial "drop". It is short, but relatively steep compared to everything else. There was a way to avoid it (taking a left off of the chair around the lift cabin) that was a much more gradual...

    Ski Bowl 3.0 at Gore

100 bucks says "marketing" suggests taking the shuttle to the ski bowl from the new parking lot on the access road (lot Z or whatever).

ORDA decided to put a zip coaster where the chair used to be. HUGE moneymaker and tourism draw.

The trails skied really well… true spring skiing. Unfortunately, it’s the “connectors” that go first bc they never blow enough snow on them. I always wonder if it’s on purpose. Had GREAT runs on 46er, Sagamore, Backwoods, Lies, Top Ridge & Uncas Left today. Unfortunately, tomorrow is the last...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

When you barely blow snow over a perfect five week stretch in Jan/Feb, it's harder to withstand this type of weather. 🦴

    Season Passes

We will definitely use all of our Killington/Pico days, Sugarbush, maybe an early season day at Stratton. Will probably meet my brother's family at Sunnapee and/or Sugarloaf. Tremblant is always a good family trip and we hit Steamboat, etc for a trip out west.

Why don't ski areas serve Buffalo wings?

I feel like every bar/pub/tavern at almost every ski area I have ever been to serve wings?
