Even Gore has detachables in harder to reach spots. Burnt Ridge and Ski Bowl are further from the maintenance building than Topridge. Even the gondola and the AE2 bases are harder to reach if they have to bring vehicles through skier traffic. I don't know what "standard configuration" is, but...

Sounds like Gore is water limited. Which raises the question of why they expanded to Ski Bowl (and Burnt Ridge earlier) before they built water capacity to cover it. Or why did they make snow at Ski Bowl before they could even connect it. mm

I’m at Whiteface today and they’re blowing snow on several trails on the upper and lower mountain, way more than I’ve seen at Gore this year or last. Belleayre is reporting that it’s 89% open and they’re making snow on the closed trails. Gore is the red headed stepchild of ORDA. mm
