I agree an 8 person high speed lift seems a little too much. But Boyne Mtn is Boyne’s baby and they tend to go big with upgrades. To be fair it did replace two triple lifts so the up hill capacity it about the same.

Finally got to start my ski season after some medical issues over the summer. Went to Mt Brighton on 12/24/24. There are around 60% open. The snow was firm but you could get an edge in and very low crowds. So it was a good start to the season and the beer was cold.
