I started my season on Sunday at Caberfae Peaks and I can honestly say it was the best opening day snow I have ever skied on. The snow was like skiing in mid January.

Should be a great opening weekend at Caberfae Peaks. Mid winter conditions

Pine Knob, Alpine Valley and Mt Holly have opened up for the season in SE Michigan. I looks like a lot more ski areas will open this weekend. I personally will be going to Caberfae Peaks on Sunday. Looking forward to getting my ski season started.

Not sure about an opening date, but all the bigger places in Northern Michigan have started to blow snow. Hopefully they get some piles built up

Boyne Mtn has started to make snow.

The Green Mountain area will be to the left of the red mark, The hole in the ground is just where they have been digging the dirt up to build the East Peak.

My home ski hill Caberfae Peaks just announced that they are adding a new beginner area along with a new lift for the 27/28 season.

I went to Boyne Mtn on April 5th and the damage in the Gaylord area was unbelievable. Boyne Mtn did not get nearly as much ice. But the damage was still there

Such a great deal at my go to place to ski in Michigan. All you can golf, room for the night and all you can golf for $114 for two people. At Caberfae Peaks

The LIV Michigan golf tournament came to town and it was only a 30min drive for me. Earlier this year I went to the Rocket Mortgage Classic. There is a much different vibe at a LIV event vs a PGA event. But I can’t say one was better than the other. They were both great on their own way.

That was actually asked and the answer was no it does not

Boyne Mtn has at least one more day left to ski. The run is no where near as long as any place in the East. But to me they still get an “A” for effort

I am in Aruba right and the last sticker I expected to see was a Mt Holiday sticker on a light pole.

Boyne Mtn is a big resort and from what i understand is most of the employees are full time. They are also going to host a Mt Bohemia season pass party.

Boyne Mtn is still hanging in there with one run.
