    Gore Mountain Conditions

I don’t think it’s realistic to expect the roads to be perfect everywhere all the time, no matter how much money is spent. I mean, that would be pretty insane.

    Who's on the DL?

This is true but one thing you can do is make them a lot worse, which is why it’s good to know for sure what you’re dealing with

    Who's on the DL?

You should call it the IL - “injured list” DL is out of use and has a dual meaning that is unrelated to this topic. Also, you should get a chest x ray in my opinion.

Last question is should I go 189 or 179? I’m 5 foot 9 inches and currently 180 LBs but when I get lazy I tend t9 roll up into the 200 LB’er range. Looks like I’m right between the two on Fischer’s size chart

    Hunter Conditions

Me and @Steve A met up at Hunter today. One way down but it was wall to wall and deep. Skied under the guns all day and my legs are toast. Good stuff Belt should be open soon

Yeah, I meant 112 so magnums. I guess I misunderstood. Where to order from? That’s tough. Not many options for the 112s other than the Fischer store. Is there anything wrong with Fischer bindings?

So S-Bound 116s in 189 length and Rotofella Xplore 68 NNN BC manuals and stick with my Alpina boots for now? …. But I’ll be better off with heavier boots down the road? Is everyone more or less in agreement?

I think they’re 190s. They’re fine for laps around the town park when it snows. Downhill on them, for me, is crouch low and straight line. Even small hills are exciting. Question is: Is it worth it to move those bindings onto wider skis? Probably not right?

Here are my current XC skis and boots. It’s mostly just stuff I picked up on the cheap here and there to experiment with. I’m ignorant on all this. Tell me what I have

I will have to look to tell you the specific model but they are very lightweight Alpinas and the NNN BC bindings I have are pretty light too. I was trying not to buy a whole new setup but I guess I need to think about that further now

I’m thinking of treating myself to some Fischer S-Bound 112s. Anybody have any experience with them? https://www.fischersports.com/us_en/s-bound-112-crown-dual-skin-xtralite/N53024 I’m viewing them as a sort of poor man’s Charger- mainly to be used in Harriman on hiking trails and woods roads...

    F Vail

Not surprising. Vail does not like to spend money on snowmaking. Stu interviewed Rob Katz and the Hunter GM this year and it didn’t take much reading between the lines to figure that out. Cutting employees’ hours to the minimum is part of the same strategy
