I'm not actually in a lot of pain. More like what the doctor told me hit me hard. I guess I've been lucky, i never heard any thing like that from a doc.
Apologies. I'll dial it back.
Nah, keep it real.I'm not actually in a lot of pain. More like what the doctor told me hit me hard. I guess I've been lucky, i never heard any thing like that from a doc.

Damn, that’s hardcore.I've been skiing with chronic back pain for years not to mention arthritis in pelvic area. I went to get the herniated disk fixed this summer and ended up getting open heart surgery instead. My back is still screwed but I still plan to get my 30+ days in this season.
Hell I got 10 days in the year I went through chemotherapy with an anal fisher from hell... gotta tell you sitting on a chairlift was painful.
FKNAif you love doing something do it. Yeah you may have to go about it differently but you adapt. My pain disappears after my first turn replaced with a smile.
Sitting here typing blurry eyed after first eye cataract surgery a couple days ago. Scheduled ‘em so they’ll be healed before I usually start ski season after Christmastime...
I love sparkly snow.
...ya can be the best version of ya.
When my eyeballs heal I’ll have some new cool UV blocking shades for the bluebirds days.
... I can see clearly now...
With one new lens in comparative binary spectroscopic studies are fun. Some come back better than before.
Wow! Your cataracts were way worse than mine. I decided on surgery sooner rather than later and I’m really happy with the results. My night vision is better and I’m having fewer flat light issues than any of my friends. With one new lens in comparative binary spectroscopic studies are fun.
Tis a bit like the current Bristol rocket cam colors view with the R & L sides reversed.

Taint night skied in many moons but looking forward to it if & when conditions permit.
Seems not as drastic as depicted above but the colors are indicative of the distinct difference.Wow! Your cataracts were way worse than mine. I had mine done in September because I wanted to be ready for opening day. An ophthalmologist friend told me that you can get lens replacement instead of Lasik now, but I would never do any surgery just to correct my eyeglass prescription.Seems not as drastic as depicted above but the colors are indicative of the distinct difference.
Suppose to get the other one done if the this week’s post op checkup goes fine. So far so good.
Looked into Lasik several years ago but they said to wait till cattractks worsened.
It’s now time to getter done.
It’d be nice to get some turns in with all the nice snow outside now.
Not supposed to even drive.
Y’all can thank me for taking one for the Ullr![]()
team.
I’m a good hibernator. Think I’ll just go take another dang nap.
