It is a common issue for opening beginner terrain early in the season that it is often at low elevation and difficult to maintain cover. Belleayre was able to solve this by putting a magic carpet and bunny hill at the top, and it was possible because there was a relatively flat area at the top of the gondola. Since all of their other beginner terrain is at the bottom of the gondola, it is connected to the rest of their beginner terrain.Whatabout a carpet or simple rope tow near the wide flatfish spot at the top of the Gondi at Gore?
Folks could download if a green wasn’t ready yet. It’s colder up there.
This could work for Gore. If it runs perpendicular to the gondola and is directly behind the terminal, then some trees would need to be cleared, and the ski patrol building relocated, but a 200' long magic carpet with a 100' wide slope would fit there.
