I think it is sold here as the Escape Plug-In Hybrid.
I guess your right
I thought it was a good looking vehicle
Not many ev’s here compared to other countries

Stupid question but I can't find an answer online.

I got a Jeep 4xE which has the J1772 connector. I plugged it in at a Chargepoint station and it was eminently straightforward. But then I went to another Chargepoint J1772 station and to my surprise the plug didn't fit. Then yesterday I stopped on the thruway and the plug didn't fit there either. What am I missing? Are there multiple J1772 form factors?
Hey not a dumb question. I am guessing in one spot your plugged into a level 2 charger (j). The other chargepoint was probably a CCS which cranks out lots of juice and is really only for straight evs.
Open your chargepoint app and filter level 2 vs 3. It sounds like you have a hybrid and would only be able to plug into level 2.

Pull up to the gas pump, they always work.
I pull up to my garage and pull back some of the electric I send into the grid to fuel my vehicle.
I drive a fair bit. 90 percent is still within range of a slow charger. Yes they need to figure that out for cities but they don’t need as many cars per capita in cities.

I'm looking at a Ford tomorrow.

Would be my second ever American car. First American car new.

My first was my grandmas two door Chevy Nova straight six. 10 years old, 20k miles. And I think, the original oil. After I drove it home, 200 miles, I changed the oil and it was like a gray foam. Good motor over the time I had it.
