The incumbent mayor lost the election yesterday & got beat by the tavern owner where folks had to write in his name.
Marcellus is UpState & it’s a nice place to live. The folks I know there are nice too.
Too bad that Nojaim’s is closing, but hopefully they are allowed to put in a decent Stewart’s. Only ever been in the one outside of North Creek.It was like some Byrne Dairy stores around CNY. Maybe that’s why there’s not as many Stewart’s in the area.

And just like magic a new Stewarts opens in the finger lakes area of The UpState.

Stewart's is the best convenience store this side of Wawa. If you like eggnog, they make the best in the country. They're currently transitioning to an employee-owned company as well.

Way back in the day, the Green Village section of Chatham Twp NJ was kinda rural and off the beaten path. Then yuppies got wind of the 'hood in the 90s and real estate there became trendy. Then the yuppies started crying about the small scale farming that was still happening there. Uff.

The moral of the story is, uf ya don't wanna smell manure, don't move to farm country.

Thanks Warp. Good luck when ya come over to The Cuse.
One of the weirder things about the short trip to go skiing yesterday was the dang smell from the dead skunk on the side of the road next to a field where a liquid manure truck was spreading in the Otisco Valley. No wind either.
Woulda pulled over and snapped a pic but it wasn’t a pleasant place at that time smell wise.
Once I went over the divide to Song ya couldn’t smell it anymore.
Vail sure ain’t gonna build their fancy hotels down there anytime soon.
