Bristol Conditions

Fantastic photographs! I especially like the one from lower galaxy, although all three are nice.
Concerning the pricing, I always purchased a six pack or 12 pack for my adult children and passed them out as Christmas gifts. I’ll have to take a long look at it and decide if it’s worth it or not. Ive been a season passholder since 1999 and I just don’t even look at it, I have my wife write a check. But roughly doing some math in my head. I think I got it down to around $15 a visit this year, of course, I was filling my car twice a week getting down there😂
I will say this about Bristol Mountain, they do spend money, not always the way I wish they would, but you can see the capital improvements every year. And nobody makes snow like Bristol, they’re fantastic, all they need is a cold spell. Still, I wish they put a new bathroom in the new building. There’s a Starbucks with sit down seating. And by law you’re supposed to have a bathroom if you serve food and there’s seating. Because the new building is attached to the old Sunset Lodge that’s how they get away with it. And they took away “the secret bathroom” that’s now in that learning area. I used to use it all the time.😂 But here we are in March, and we’re still skiing so I’ll keep the complaints to a minimum. The previous two years were just awful and I am grateful for for being able to ski whenever I want.😎⛷️

Bluebird spring skiing day today! Got back from CO Sunday night and made it down a little late today. Snow softened up very nicely and wasn't sticky. First day here since 2/28. Unfortunately, trail count is down due to the torrential rains and wind on Sunday. Looks like Northstar is done-could see big brown spots from the base lodge. Southern Cross is hanging in, but the lower corner is no more-gotta go wide on the turn. Lower Meteor is less wide and some brown spots on Upper. Without a late dump not looking good for later March/Early April. I'm sure we'll be skiing, but with limited trails. Oh well, better than the last two years! Saw Charlie A. from a distance, but didn't get a chance to say HI.

Today, Wednesday it’s not looking good. Bristol Mountain is in the death throes. The oak trees have littered the runs with their late dropped leaves, the brown dirt is pushing through the snow, and they were unable to groom last night. I can’t see Southern Cross lasting another day. Milky Way, nova, Northstar, and lower universe are all done for the year. That said Galaxy is fine, Rocket is full of snow, Comet is hanging tough but getting pretty thin as you come down to lower Orbit- stick to the left as you approach it. All said, it’s spring skiing for you mashed potato lovers it’s wonderful.

Thanks for the update. I'm hoping to use my last pass Saturday for the spring carnival but not sure it's worth it.
Will be interested in a Friday update if anyone is there.

+1 to what Charlie A. said. Lost a lot overnight and as nice as the sun is to ski, it ain't helping things a bit. Crunchy early then it slowly softened up-Rocket at 11:30 or so was nice! I plan on taking tomorrow off, but will ski Friday and report then. Plan on Saturday for the Spring Carnival-it's also Fiddlehead day, so there may be beer deals. Think late March snowstorm to save what is there!

Nope the Webcam is looking sad.

Should anyone want a FREE lift pass for the spring carnival just PM me. I can load their Gateway card for them.
