Platt was very very good yesterday....And it was for the most part a ghost town..No one parking on the road..The upstairs was 1/4 filled at lunch time...The run of the day was under the triple after lunch...

I had pretty low expectations based on the rain yesterday and the rapid temp drop overnight. It turned out to be a pretty nice day- at least on the trails that got groomed

Big time swing and a miss on the storm last night! Not the powder day hoped for…..or maybe I just never found the “awesome” 5-6” of new snow showing on the conditions report ….but it was a’ight.

They groomed a bunch this morning and those trails were great this am, and the inch or two of snow with crust most places on the hill had been skied in by lunchtime and the mountains was skiing fine.

It IS Platty, so I spent most of the day doing Platty things. Did they get a little more snow up high, with a little less of a crust? Yeah, I’d say so. Not a powder day out there, more of a surfy breakable crust. There is, however, a lot of snow out there for those (me) willing to break trail out and back. Point ‘em, tips up, and keep your speed in them trees! A good dump and things will be primo.
