Anybody been this weekend? How crowded was it? I'm thinking of taking my 3 and a half year old son Wednesday for his first time on skis.

Impressive to see a beginner's hill like this with such a devoted following that it's out of season passes before they even go on sale? NYS's longest continuously operating ski area, since 1936!

My one day there in 2012.

Thinking of taking my 4 year old up on Friday, anybody know if they have the learning area open?

Also I bought him skis (77 cm) but the bindings came unassembled. The plate is attached to the ski but the actual pieces need to be attached and set. Would the rental shop there do it for me?

I don't know for a fact if it is open, but I'd guess it is a top priority.
