    McCauley Conditions

I feared Greek would be rain today, but I hear they got 4". No regrets, not a fun drive up 12 in the morning, plows three wide. First true powder day of the year... 3/23.

    Greek Peak Conditions

Got a couple hours in first thing. Pretty sweet, just about the right amount of snow for its consistency. When its that wet and gets deep, it kicks my ass. First couple runs on the untracked were sublime. Here's hoping for som deep fluffy storms to come. Pretty packed when we called it quits...

Two Scoops and Other Broken Promises

I don't see the raisin you're so upset. Eat your damn cereal and stop graping. It could have something to do with the raisins themselves. My mom makes Easter bread every Easter. The recipe includes raisins. She swears the raisins somehow disappear during the baking process.. She's even...

The Fire and Rain and Smoke Thread

Nice pic, I headed out to find a high spot to view the sunset. Turns out I witnessed the peak from my front door. The sun was barely visible when i started driving to a better vantage point, it was just too thick. Never experienced this before, you could smell the smoke. Everything looked yellow...

    Killington Conditions

Pefect spring day a K today. A little crowded at times, I overheard someone saying the Vermont schools were off today. Got on the chair around 10:30. They did not groom overnight. Consequently massive bumps on upper and lower Supperstar from the get go. A little much for this fat old man. I did...

So sad to hear Boo passed. He was a good man. He definitely had a tough row to hoe in his life. I hope he is at peace now. I feel a part of Greek has passed with him.

    Greek Peak Conditions

Dead at work so I blew it off yesterday for a powder day at Greek... 1-2" atop boilerplate. It skied ok, kinda slow, better than unadulterated boilerplate. Weather was kinda weird, sunny, LE squalls, repeat. I was a little surprised they were still open weekdays.

    Greek Peak Conditions

Headed up after work yesterday. Conditions were good Glad I left a little early from work. I wasn't aware night skiing had ended. Pretty sure I heard a snow report on local radio stating number of trails and open til 9 the same day. Got 10 runs in an hour and a half. It was plenty.

That's Tim, Wonderpony's boyfriend. I was curious where he's been. I made a few runs with an off duty instructor that met sharing a chair. I asked him where Tim had been, he said he's been instructing too. I think he's a retired teacher. I bet he's and excellent ski instructor, he was probably a...

My bad, I forgot chair 2 existed. The only time it ran this year it had to be evacuated.
