View attachment 30927

Spotted this person as I was leaving Holiday Valley on Friday.
Probably related to this dude I saw at Slick Rock Moab a few years ago 🤣

Friday I started my ride before the storm and ended in the snow. Could barely see the ice fishermen.

Another big Ash tree I had to muscle the 52lb levo over. The woods are just littered with dead, hollow Ash trees... So sad.

Otherwise it was beautiful out there. Just a great day to ride.

Did you put on a wider tire?
Same width as stock, 2.6". For winter I'm riding Maxxis Assegai front and back which have a lot of rolling resistance.

Fortunately the snow was soft and easy to get through.

The next day I tried the same route again and turned around after 3 miles. The storm had changed to sleet and a bit of freezing rain which made the ride significantly more difficult.

Are ya allowed to saw the fallen trees on the trail to get em outta the way?
My friend who moved to Victor gave me his little electric Ryobi chainsaw when I helped him with his move.
Those should cut the small ones easy but take awhile and/or an extra battery for the big boys. Be careful if ya saw.
