Bring the Stoke

The AZ ski bowl is getting piles of snow to boot.
That’s what I hear. It could be all they get for the season! It’s happened before.

Snowbowl reopened up the Agassiz social lounge this past year after Covid shut the place down. I need to drive over to pull up a saddle in that watering hole. It’s my most favorite ski area bar of all time.

Says 100% of lifts & 93% of terrain open. It’s the 5th of dang December. 60 inches ❄️ to date.
Have fun stay safe.

For the stoke. Here’s a shot from a day working with a local photographer 14 years ago that I had completely forgotten about. He posted this up on his facebook recently. This was a damn good day with 14-18 inches iirc. It’s just one of hundreds of days and thousands and thousands of runs like this. What a ride it’s been! No regrets (jk, I’ve got plenty) or something like that.

Nah, no stoke here. Bumps too stiff, skis too wide, poles too high and if he thinks that’s the longest mogul run then he’s never skied Gunbarrel at Heavenly or even Outer Limits at Killington for that matter.
Sheesh Mr Rip. Looked like fun.

I’ll always remember the monster bumps on Outer Limits. We skied em on a midwinter weeklong Onondaga Community College bus trip. Fun times. For some reason they seem to grow bigger every time I remember being in them.

Is it stoke yet?

Yes Sir, that’s more like it, thank you. Lots of legends there. Daffys, no helmets, zipper lines, before parks ruined our sport, good times.
