The Definitive Solution to the Upstate NY Question

The incumbent mayor lost the election yesterday & got beat by the tavern owner where folks had to write in his name.

Marcellus is UpState & it’s a nice place to live. The folks I know there are nice too.
Too bad that Nojaim’s is closing, but hopefully they are allowed to put in a decent Stewart’s. Only ever been in the one outside of North Creek. It was like some Byrne Dairy stores around CNY. Maybe that’s why there’s not as many Stewart’s in the area.
For some reason tain't never heard folks rap bout Nojaims nor Byrne Dairies in The UpState.

This ^^^^^ is the best thing I've seen on the ItraWebz in a decade!

I ain't drove a Rari
I can't afford a Benz
But 50 dollars at Stew's and I can feed my friends

CLASSIC!

Closest Stewarts to ya are in Oxford & Norwich.

Their Philly Vanilla is even better than Perry’s French Vanilla.
Pairs well with some Hershey's squeeze chocolate sauce or blueberry/graham cracker crumble.

On the way back from NJ, where I saw my kiddo and played loud rock n roll. Stopped at the Stewart's in Chestertown for gas. Dude in an old Chevy truck. He wore an orange cap, had a mutt that was part pit bull, and a bolt action rifle with a scope in the passenger seat. Hunting season in the UpState. THAT'S what I'm talking about.

In the early 80's, when I was in HS, we would take our guns to school so we could go hunting after school was over. We left them in our vehicles right in plain sight. You'd have the FBI called on you in today's world.

In Pennsylvania when Opening Day of deer season was the 1st Monday after Thanksgiving schools were closed. Twas a Dang Holiday.

Same day here in NYS, back in the day. My mom would write me an excuse for school saying that I had a fever. She wasn't a liar as I had buck fever. My parents always would let me skip school on that day. Twas great!

Back in the late 1980s in NJ, the NJ Department of Environmental Protection would park trucks with scales along Route 206 so you could weigh your deer. Don't know whether that's still done. A lot more development out there now. Not so easy to hunt.
