That's what I was trying to say, except that, on all the hybrids i've ever owned, five of them, none have ever needed any maintenance on the electric and the tires don't wear out faster and the brakes last much longer.Maintenance seems like it would be higher. You have all the ice requirements and electric
I just replaced the starter battery on my daughter's prius. It's thirteen years old, that's the only thing that's ever really worn out. The brakes lasted well over a hundred thousand miles.
