I know I am going to have questions, and I know you guys can help me.

I want to get under our cars. Daughter's car has something flapping around underneath. I zip tied it, but I want a better look.

I was looking at ramps.

Are these any good?

Who uses a ramp, what do you like or not, about it?

I've had those same ramps for 5 years or so. No issues. We use them for all fluid changes on at least 4 vehicles. Sometimes you do have to back down and realign them though.

I haver a set of those, too ... no issues.

Although I don't use them often, they are handy to have around.

Please, please, please use wheel blocks. And if jacking up use jack stands.

We had a veteran tech (25+ years in the biz) get killed by having a car drop on him while doing a brake job at home. Out of all the people to not use jack stands, I couldn't believe it. No doubt he knew better but was in a hurry.

I was hoping to use these for fixing a loose panel and maybe oil changes.

No bueno?

In the early 90's I had a 78 Corvette. Great car. Fun to drive. I decided to save some labor $ and change the belts on the thing myself. How hard could it possibly be? Well, in tightening one of the belts I crushed the power steering pump. What was intended to save me money ended up costing me 5X the cost of having a real mechanic do the work. It was at that moment that I realized fixing my own cars wasn't for me.... LoL

It's awise man that knows his limitations . Get a good mechanic and use him .....it's worth the $
