Whiteface Conditions

WF was good on Sunday but I should have waited to go later, pretty socked in up top til about 2ish. Was going to try Saturday but it was totally socked in and light rain/drizzle. Sunday even had some fresh snow up above but it turned pasty pretty quickly. Skyward is holding up quite well as is Niagara, hoping for one more day next weekend, would be nice to have the sun out for a change.

Whiteface closing day last Sunday delivered outstanding snow on Upper Skyward - as good as I have ever seen/felt.
Even in warm early afternoon, the summit didn't require a jump to clear dirty snow, you could ski down a narrow path but once out on the slope it was wall to wall wide open.

Congratulations to WF management and groomers for a job well done!
